Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay's birthplace was Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn was a part of the Mormon church's most prestigious family, combined her literary talents and exceptional research abilities into a brilliant biography on Joseph Smith. No Man Knew My History appeared in 1945. The title was inspired by a funeral speech that was delivered by the Church of Latter-Day Saints founder, Joseph Smith. The sermon stated: "You do not know who I am and have never seen my heart." There is no one who has ever been told about my story. I don't know. I wrote the 29-year-old Fawn in that moment of candor about three dozen writers have jumped on the challenge. Some have attacked him, while others have glorified him. a few have attempted to make a clinical diagnosis it is not the fact that these documents lack information, it is rather that they're in complete contradiction. It is a daunting task to put together these papers--of sorting first-hand information from a third-party copycatting of Mormon as well as non-Mormon stories to create a picture that is plausible history. This is interesting and instructive. This is the kind of task to which Fawn Brodie committed herself professionally. The fruits of her research and writing immortalized her with worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens. The DevilDrives. The Life of Sir Richard Burton (1967) Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon, An Intimate historiography (1974) The posthumous.
