Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became the sweetheart of America after she took home American Idol in the first season. Her win was not only a major success and a huge success, it also earned her a recording contract for numerous albums through RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records. Since then her win, she's released several of studio albums. In these albums, 3 reached the top of the US Billboard 200 Chart while other albums were one centimeter away. Her name is one of the top artists to have emerged from American Idol. After achieving success, she tried out different themes and music styles often co-writing her songs in accordance of her own feelings. Her individuality and her singing abilities earned her critical praise along with a host of high-profile award. Most notably she has won Grammy Awards three times. Grammy Award three times. In addition to her musical career, she has appeared in films as well as television programs. She is also the author of the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organizations.
