Harry

Harry Edward Styles (also known as Harry Styles in the music world) is a British composer and singer. Harry Styles was one of the original members of One Direction. He was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on the 1st of February 1994. He's the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School in which he started his own band, composed of three classmates, which he called White Eskimo. The group won the Battle of Bands in 2009 because of their exceptional performances. He has always been interested in music, despite his passion, he was thinking about becoming a lawyer and an physiotherapist. At one point, he worked as a part-time baker within his town to help people financially in the home. In the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he did the track Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. Because of that, his band had to separate. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles could be part of the group that was to be dubbed One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. The group sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky Without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart at the time of the competition. This made them among the leaders. They were in third spot behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell failed to take home the race. However Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollars contract with Syco.
