Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actress. Her fame grew during the late 1970s and early the 1980s by playing recurring roles in several television series, where she typically portrayed a glamorous image. Her career in the field began with her role in 1973 on Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. She appeared as Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time that an actress has played a role like this. In 1980 she took the role as Jenna Wade in Flamingo Road (NBC), and was honored with a Golden Globe Award nomination for the Outstanding Actress - Television Series Drama. In 1984, she was the co-star of ABC's primetime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985 to 1986, Fairchild played attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also an actor on stage, having appeared in TV comedies such as Murphy Brown, for which she won an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the best guest star in a Comedy Series. She serves on the board of SAG-AFTRA.
