Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Anna Silk is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk - a talented actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Her father is from Britain and her mother is a "Turkish ex-pat from Cyprus who is now living in England." Anna's first memories include attending play rehearsals and observing her mother at work. When she was a kid, she played in commercials for a number of companies. Anna relocated from Toronto and moved to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman and Anna met in Los Angeles in 2007, at an actor's workshop. They were engaged by 2009 after getting married. Anna, who had converted to Judaism at the time, and Seth Cooperman were married in December 2010 in Fredericton.
